    The DXi7500 is the disk backup solution for distributed and enterprise environments that allows users to add policy-based de-duplication, remote replication and direct tape creation to their backup strategy to increase performance, enhance data protection and reduce costs. The DXi7500 uses Quantum's patented data de-duplication technology to reduce disk requirements by 90% or more and make WAN-based replication a practical, DR tool. Scalable to 240TB raw capacity, the DXi7500 is designed for larger sites and corporate data centers. This product includes one 2U server module with one compression adapter, two fiber channel ports, two Gigabit Ethernet ports, and redundant power supplies and fans, one 3U storage array module with 32 750GB drives, RAID controllers, redundant power and fans, base virtual tape library software, 20 ft (6 m) fiber channel cables with LC connectors, 25 ft (7.6 m) Ethernet cables. It provides approximately 18TB native useable capacity with RAID 5 and one hot spare drive (factory default).
