The Tripp Lite 5kVA SmartOnline Hot-Swappable Modular Rack/Tower UPS with SNMPWEBCARD is ideal for Intel Modular Server applications. This is a 5000VA on-line, double-conversion UPS for server, network and telecommunications equipment. It maintains battery-derived AC output during blackouts with active, full-time power conditioning. Fault tolerant auto-bypass prevents unexpected service interruptions during overload or internal fault conditions. Its single all-in-one housing installs in four (4) rack spaces (4U). Upright tower installation is also possible with the optional 2-9USTAND accessory, and 2-post rackmount installation is possible with the optional 2POSTRMKITWM.
Full-time sine wave output is provided within 3% of selectable 208/120 or 240/120VAC output voltage. Automatic Voltage Regulation (AVR) corrects brownouts and overvoltages from 65V to 140V (L-N). Avialable runtime can be extended with optional BP192V12-3U external rackmount battery packs.
This dual-conversion UPS converts raw input from AC to DC, then back to perfect sine wave AC output with enhanced protection from harmonic distortion, fast electrical impulses and other hard-to-solve power problems not addressed by other UPS types. Also featured is network-grade AC surge and noise suppression. The network management interfaces include a combination RS-232 enabled and contact closure serial port, an enhanced USB port and an SNMPWEBCARD.
The built-in DB-9 port offers both enhanced RS-232 enabled data monitoring and contact closure monitoring. The HID-compliant USB interface enables integration with the built-in power management and auto shutdown features of Windows and Mac OS X. Simultaneous detailed monitoring of equipment load levels, self-test data and mains power conditions is supported via the 3 network interfaces. PowerAlert monitoring software with complete cabling is also included. Other features inlcude an Emergency Power Off (EPO) interface, front panel LEDs and an LCD readout with scroll controls to support visual monitoring of all major UPS functions. The LED/LCD display panel easily rotates for viewing in either the rackmount or tower configuration.

LINE / BATTERY TRANSFER
Transfer time from line power to battery mode: Zero, online UPS continuously converts incoming AC to DC, then back to AC. When line power is interrupted, UPS maintains continuous output from battery reserves with absolutely no disruption in output AC power.
Low voltage transfer to battery power: maintains continuous operation during undervoltages as low as 65V (L1-N:L2-N). Below this point, output is maintained utilizing battery reserves.
High voltage transfer to battery power Maintains continuous operation during overvoltages to 140V (L1-N:L2-N). Above this point, output is maintained utilizing battery reserves.
