RMX 2000 Double-Up Program Upgrade 60 To 120 Resource
The Polycom RMX 2000 Double-Up Program is a limited time offer designed to provide a smooth, cost-efficient transition for current RMX 2000 customers to increase capacity with MPM+ Cards. The RMX 2000 Double-Up program is valid from February 2009 through September 30, 2009.
The RMX 2000 conference platform with MPM+ cards addresses the need for scale by doubling capacity, and in the case of high resolution standard definition calls, tripling capacity. The new cards and software make the RMX 2000 the first multipoint platform in the industry to power 1080p and 720p60 video, while a feature called Video Clarity ensures all images are crisp and engaging, even from legacy endpoints. The RMX 2000 delivers the best value per call in mixed networks with its standard Flexible Resource Capacity. In addition, MPM+ cards and V4.0 software extend bridge options by offering Fixed Resource Capacity, which allows customers to set the bridge capacity ensuring the same amount of processing resources are used no matter what the call type.
Customers that have purchased the RMX 2000 prior to the launch of the Double-Up Program (RMX 2000 version 4.0/MPM+) are eligible to participate. Customers must provide existing RMX 2000 Serial number and chassis part number to support participation in the Double-Up program. Additionally, customers will need the RMX 2000 4.0 software version.
The RMX 2000 Double-Up Program allows existing RMX 2000 customers worldwide to purchase the same number of licenses as currently owned and to receive the corresponding MPM+ card(s) at no additional cost. This offer enables customers to “double” the current capacity. With the purchase of the licenses and version 4.0 the customer will receive appropriate MPM+ card(s), a new chassis, fan tray to support the MPM+ card(s) and migration process overview. Field replaceable components are repurposed in the new chassis. The existing chassis will not support the MPM+ cards and must be destroyed or recycled.
This offer may not be combined with any other offer. Customers participating in this program must double existing licenses.
