The HP 1040 lets you print and copy at up to 300x300 dpi for crisp, clear black-and-white output on everyday paper. Save time with advanced fax capabilities, such as scan-and-fax, delayed send and forward. Send important faxes quickly and reliably with a 14.4kbps modem. A 10-sheet automatic document feeder helps you send out multiple faxes while a 50-sheet paper tray lets you print large-volume faxes more conveniently.
Convenient scan-and-fax technology lets you quickly scan and queue multiple outgoing faxes even while transmitting faxes. Incoming faxes are safely stored in a 100-page fax memory. This machine is easy to use, with 10 one-touch buttons and 80 speed dials. You can block junk faxes using caller ID to screen all incoming fax numbers; once displayed, unwanted numbers can be easily programmed into your fax caller ID memory to automatically screen and block future fax transmissions.
In addition, this machine features convenient desktop copying. Easily make up to 75 high-quality black-and-white copies right at your desk. It collates multi-page documents in the same order as the originals at up to 4 copies per minute in draft mode. Plus, you can reduce or enlarge your copies by 50 to 125 percent.
